Labor and Delivery RN - 12 Hour Days

Location: Massachusetts

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour days, with every other weekend and holiday required as needed.

Job Description: The Labor and Delivery RN will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor the progress of labor and fetal well-being.
• Administer medications and interventions as per protocols.
• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current Labor and Delivery experience.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license must be active and included in profile upload.
• Current certifications in ACLS, NRP, and BLS are required at the time of profile upload.
• Perm address must be provided during profile submission.
• Must have a valid vehicle for transportation to and from the assignment.
