Registered Nurse

With two openings available, this full-time, contract role offers the chance to work 37.5 hours per week in a supportive educational environment serving children from ages 3 to 18.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required in New York State.
• Experience with pediatric nursing or school health preferred.
• Comfortable delivering nursing care and first aid to children across a broad age range.
• Familiarity with New York State Health requirements for school-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care for students ages 3-18, addressing acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine health screenings, assessments, and necessary testing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation.
• Monitor immunization compliance and ensure timely reporting to appropriate agencies.
• Respond promptly to students' health concerns, injuries, or emergencies.
• Partner with faculty and families to educate students on health and wellness topics.

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.22 to $53.22. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
