The ideal candidate is comfortable performing repetitive tasks, enjoys routine work, and can stand in one place for extended periods while maintaining accuracy and consistency.Why you'll love being an Export Sorter at Brook Valley:No weekends!Comfortable airconditioned facilityConsistent day time schedule (Mon-Fri; 7:30-4)Healthcare benefits, paid time off and more!Duties and essential job functions:· Manually pulls materials from carts or storage bins and inspects for quality· Aptitude to determine re-routing of materials quickly and efficiently· Competence in determining grades of textiles and cloth quicklyKey job duties include:· Sorting and moving product quickly· Working independently or as part of a team· Maintaining cleanliness of work station and area· Accurately documents processing for warehouse reporting· Adheres to all safety practices of the warehouse operation· Ability to meet daily company quotas on a consistent basisPosition qualifications:· Ability to work in a fast paced environment· Attention to detail· Team Player· Ability to communicate with floor supervisors and co-workers· Demonstrated ability to meet quotas· Ability to stand up at least 8 hours a day· Ability to lift and bend frequently· Ability to lift up to 35 pounds· Ability to speak conversational English· Adhering to company attendance requirements
