We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and knowledgeable Tumbling Coach to join our growing program! This position involves coaching athletes in both private lessons and group classes focused on Level 1 tumbling skills.

The ideal candidate has previous cheerleading and/or gymnastics experience and enjoys working with athletes of all ages in a positive, encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and safely spot athletes during tumbling instruction
• Lead private lessons and small group classes
• Teach proper technique, body control, flexibility, and strength
• Create a fun, positive, and motivating atmosphere
• Maintain athlete safety at all times
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes

Skills Taught

Candidates should have experience teaching and/or performing:

• Back Walkover
• Front Walkover
• Cartwheel
• Round Off
• Round Off Back Walkover
• Cartwheel Back Walkover
• Front Walkover Round Off Back Walkover
• Switch Leg Back Walkover

Requirements

• Cheerleading or gymnastics experience required
• Coaching experience preferred
• Must be willing to complete a background check
• Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must have reliable transportation/resources
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well with children and athletes of varying skill levels

Schedule

• Evening and/or weekend availability preferred
• Part-time position
• Private lessons and group classes scheduled weekly

Pay

• Competitive pay based on experience
