The Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations collaborates with UN Member States and agencies to develop and promote policies that foster sustainable development, global prosperity, and peace. Under the leadership of Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab, the Mission actively engages in areas such as women empowerment, renewable energy, disarmament, humanitarian affairs, and sustainable development. Located in New York, the Mission represents the UAE's commitment to multilateral diplomacy and international cooperation.
This is a full-time on-site role located in New York, NY for an Information Technology Specialist. The specialist will manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and related infrastructure to ensure their smooth functioning. Daily tasks include network administration, monitoring and resolving system issues, ensuring network security, and providing technical support to staff. The role also involves identifying and troubleshooting IT-related challenges and collaborating with internal teams to enhance technology efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Network Administration and Network Security skills
- Proficiency in Information Technology and Troubleshooting issues effectively
- Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to assist and communicate with technical and non-technical staff
- Knowledge of best practices for IT system maintenance and security
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar) are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced and professional environment
