Job Description
Make a meaningful difference supporting students' communication needs in a contract Speech-Language Pathology role near Memphis, TN. Work directly with school-aged children to assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy designed to foster academic and social success—all within a collaborative educational environment.
What you bring:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience with school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and implementation
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with educators and families
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's success
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough records compliant with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
- Offer consultative support to classroom staff and families as needed
