Quality Enclosures is looking for an experienced Order Entry Supervisor to lead our Order Entry team in Central Islip, NY.

This is more than a traditional supervisory role. You'll help shape the future of our department by coaching employees, improving workflows, increasing efficiency, and ensuring our customers receive accurate quotes and orders on time.

What You'll Do

As the Order Entry Supervisor, you'll lead the daily operations of our Order Entry department while helping build a culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Order Entry team to achieve high levels of accuracy and productivity
• Monitor department workload and prioritize work to meet customer expectations
• Review order and quote accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve quality and consistency
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
• Serve as the first point of escalation for order-related questions and complex customer situations
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Production, Logistics, and IT to ensure work flows efficiently across departments
• Analyze departmental performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and customer service
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, training materials, and best practices
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a leader who enjoys developing people just as much as improving processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of experience in order entry, customer service operations, manufacturing support, inside sales support, logistics, or a similar operational environment
• Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising employees
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Experience using ERP or order management systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work with performance metrics and reporting
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for building efficient, high-performing teams
• The ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in a fast-paced environment
