Role Description The Speech Therapist is a full-time (4- 10 hour days), on-site role located in Anchorage, AK. In this position, the Speech Therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for clients of varying ages and backgrounds. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, and documenting progress in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The Speech Therapist collaborates with other healthcare and wellness professionals, communicates regularly with clients and their families or caregivers, and participates in interdisciplinary meetings to support comprehensive care. The role also involves client and family education, maintenance of accurate records, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology. Qualifications Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and hold (or be eligible for) state licensure in Alaska. Hold or be eligible for national certification (e.g., CCC-SLP) and maintain required continuing education. Demonstrated ability to conduct speech and language assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans. Strong clinical skills in delivering evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapies across diverse client populations. Effective interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
