Journeyman Pipefitter

Job Description MSHA 48 Required $120/day Per Diem 5/10s We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters for a project involving the installation and fabrication of 316 stainless steel piping ranging from 1/4" to 1-1/2". The ideal candidate will have strong pipefitting skills and experience working with stainless process piping. Responsibilities
Project Manager
- Install, assemble, and fit 316 stainless steel pipe from 1/4" to 1-1/2"
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and prepare piping for installation
- Layout and fit pipe, fittings, valves, and related components
- Perform accurate pipe alignment and fit-up for welding
- Work with stainless steel tubing and small-diameter process piping
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist welders with proper fit-up and positioning
- Inspect completed work for proper alignment, dimensions, and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
- Previous industrial pipefitting experience
- Experience working with 316 stainless steel
- Experience with 1/4"-1-1/2" pipe/tubing
- Ability to read and understand isometric drawings and piping plans
- Strong measuring, layout, and fit-up skills
- Experience preparing pipe for TIG welding is preferred
- Familiarity with valves, fittings, supports, and process piping systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
