This travel RN role supports perioperative care in a surgical setting. The assignment is for a 13-week period with dayshift coverage and involves working in an operating room environment on a structured travel rotation.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases for surgical patients
- Assist the surgical team with sterile technique, instrument handling, counts, equipment readiness, and room setup
- Monitor patient status throughout the procedure, respond to intraoperative events, and coordinate with anesthesia providers
- Document perioperative care, patient responses, and ensure accurate handoffs to PACU or receiving units
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and the broader care team to promote patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes
- Support patient and family education related to the perioperative process and postoperative expectations as appropriate

Requirements
- Current Georgia RN license (active) in good standing
- Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in Georgia
- Experience: perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred
- Skills: strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking; ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Schedule/ Mobility: ability to work 10-hour day shifts (4x10 schedule) and participate in a travel assignment as required
