Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical ICU

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/acute care experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Community/Trauma/LTAC experience preferred
• Skills in ventilator management, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, suctioning, arterial line and central line care, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, and managing dysrhythmias

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical ICU setting
• Monitor patient conditions and assess vital signs to ensure optimal patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-specific care plans
• Conduct necessary procedures such as starting IVs and phlebotomy
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have state or compact RN license in hand at time of submittal
• All requested time off (RTO) must be listed at the time of submittal
• Orientation and modules are conducted onsite
