Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in an ambulatory care setting. The primary responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a well-organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Escorting and rooming patients.
• Reviewing and updating patient medical histories.
• Assisting providers with treatment and procedures.
• Entering accurate patient information into the electronic medical record.
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining clinical areas.
• Providing patient instructions within the employee's training and scope.
• Assisting with durable medical equipment documentation and dispensing.
• Assisting with orthotic, brace, or diabetic-shoe processes as trained.
• Supporting clinical work queues, patient callbacks, and follow-up tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with rooming patients.
• MA certification or Diploma preferred.

Skills

• Technical skills related to clinical support and medical record management.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
