Radiologic Technologist

\n

Job Details:

\n

• Day shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
\n • Support daily diagnostic X-ray operations
\n • Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
\n • Position and instruct patients prior to examination
\n • Adjust X-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
\n • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
\n • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
\n • Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
\n • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
\n • Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
\n • Report important information to the physician and verify exams on PACS
\n • Fluoroscopy and C-arm experience required to provide coverage for procedural and surgical imaging needs
\n • Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
\n • Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
\n • Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R), Basic Life Support (BLS)
\n • Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
\n • Fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire
