TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Dallas, Texas, 75243!

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 20:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - Critical Care ICU experience - PACU experience Description: The unit has 16 beds and a staff of 16. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 8 staff members on the day shift. Patient ratios are 2:1. The unit utilizes various types of equipment, including LVADs, A-lines, Swans, and ventilators. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Meditech. Candidates must possess critical care and PACU experience. Preferred candidates will have cardiac and ortho/neuro experience. Typical procedures performed in the unit include cardiac catheterization, ablations, carotid endarterectomies, TAVR, laminectomies, and hip & knee replacements. Teamwork is highly valued on this unit. A call time of one hour is required. Weekend on-call duties are not expected. Dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.
