Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) with on-call requirements for 4-6 calls in a 6-week time frame.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures and be comfortable with on-call responsibilities. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, adhering to the highest standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
• Assist in surgical procedures and manage post-operative care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, including nights and weekends if needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Must possess a valid California RN license.
• Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and BLS are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
