About the Role:
Richmond Family Clinic is looking for a friendly and organized Patient Services Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice in Richmond, MO. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
• Accurately enter and maintain patient demographics and medical records
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
• Communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration coursework a plus
• Prior experience in a medical front office or patient-facing healthcare role preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general computer skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to confidentiality (HIPAA)
