RN Supervisor Long Term Care

Full-Time Evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), 5x8s

Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 22

Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long term care

Supervisory or clinical lead experience over multiple units

BLS certification required through AHA or RQI

CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire

Oversee the operation of nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff.

Assure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff.

Communicate with nursing leadership regarding identified and potential problems.

Make administrative decisions in the absence of nursing leadership.

Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other departments.

Demonstrate leadership and maintain professional conduct in stressful situations.

Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated; required tasks may involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissue.
