Employee & Family Assistance Programs Job Brief: The Journeyman Electrician will provide on-site installation, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs for a customer’s electrical products and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities: Completes QA/QC redlines for as-built construction drawings. Reads and interprets schematics and drawings related to electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications. Repairs and adjusts system components (sensors, transmitters, programmable logic controllers, etc.); removes and replaces defective parts. Pulls wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and/or connect wire to form circuits. Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety. Completes daily field work orders and maintains hours worked and equipment used. Completes inventory transfers and provides monthly warehouse inventory reports. Senior Journeyman will complete on the job training documents for Junior Technicians. Participation/compliance with company safety programs & company policies. On-call support as required. Other duties as required. Required Skills/Qualifications: Experience using pressure and/or electrical test equipment to troubleshoot systems. Ability to read, interpret, and understand piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) drawings. Work long hours and participate in on-call schedule as required. History of good customer relations. Technical training or experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset. Intermediate to advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and use an ERP system, IFS w/ Aurena Tech Portal preferred. Standard First Aid/CPR with AED, OSHA 30, and Safeland , with preference for OSHA500. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (required for safety-sensitive roles). Completion of a criminal background check, with results assessed based on relevance to the position.
