The ideal candidate will possess strong prioritization and time management skills, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Unit Information Number of Beds: 38 Main Areas: Rapid, Main, POD 3 (Psych Safe Area) Staffing: 7 RNs for Day/Night shifts, 5 RNs for Mid shifts Type of Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP, EKGs, Arterial Lines, Belmont, Chest Tubes EMR System: Meditech Qualifications Required Skills: Prioritizing Time Management De-escalation techniques (CPI preferred) Preferred Skills: Team player Typical Procedures: Port Placement Chest Tubes Best Personality Fit: Patient-focused, attentive to details, positive attitude, and coachable Floating Areas: Brookside ED Work Schedule 48 hours guaranteed per option Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays every four weeks 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays per year Dress Code Scrub Color: Navy Blue Unit Policies Please refer to the POD 3 policy for detailed unit guidelines.
