Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic testing, and crafting individualized care approaches
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (depending on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families about prevention strategies, well-being, and managing diseases
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic conditions
• Working in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care
• Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
