Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Partake in clinical supervision sessions and actively pursue ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in the field.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information as mandated by state laws and organizational policies.
- Contribute to community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources available to families and individuals.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LMFT at Innovative Care, you will serve a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of issues including relationship dynamics, family conflict, and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Your work will involve providing culturally sensitive therapy that respects the unique backgrounds and situations of each client, fostering healing and growth within families and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current LMFT license in California, in good standing.
- Demonstrated clinical experience of at least one year, preferably in a community health setting.
- Proficient understanding of solution-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
- Additional training or certification in trauma-informed care or substance abuse therapy is a plus.
- Experience using telehealth platforms for virtual therapy sessions.
- Familiarity with community health resources and clinical referrals.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
