Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Contract - 12 Weeks

Travel Pay: From $2400/week
Local Pay: From $55/hr

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role utilizes the nursing and procedural support process to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in angiography, cardiovascular procedures, and catheter-based interventions.

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
• Support angiography procedures, including handling angiography catheters
• Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Participate in advanced interventions such as carotid artery stenting
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging and diagnostic equipment
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field
• Minimum 1–2+ years of Cath Lab or interventional radiology experience
• Experience with angiography and catheter-based procedures
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or equivalent – Preferred

• Strong technical and procedural skills in Cath Lab environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and patient safety focus
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations

• Hospital Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Exposure to radiation and use of protective equipment
• Fast-paced, patient-critical care setting

• May require on-call, weekends, or extended shifts based on department needs
• Experience with carotid artery stenting and advanced interventional procedures is highly desirable
