Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)Location: Miami, FLUnit: Operating RoomNumber of Beds: 29 bedsStaffing: Varies with volume, includes 1 Charge RN, 2-3 Registered Nurses, 2 Technicians, and a Clinical Coordinator.General InformationDay Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Technicians, Clinical CoordinatorNight Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Technicians, Clinical CoordinatorPatient Ratios: 3:1Type of equipment utilized: X-rays, preoperative tools, anesthesiology equipment, lab equipment, electrocardiography, EKGElectronic Medical Records (EMR): MeditechResponsibilitiesAs an Operating Room Registered Nurse, the role entails:Observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients.Participation in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to joint replacements, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgeries.QualificationsCandidates must meet the following requirements:Certification: ACLS, BLSExperience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute operating room setting, with specific experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures.Preferred Certifications: PALS, CNOR, and any charge experience are advantageous.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe best fit for this role will be:Dedicated and reliable with a strong background in patient care.Critical thinker with excellent multi-tasking skills and bedside manner.Proficient in documentation and charting.Dress CodeScrub Color: Navy blue or royal blue.
