Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager

Lawley is looking for a Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager in Connecticut to support our Account Managers with endorsements, certificates, binders, and renewal processes. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a similar role and a P&C license or be willing to obtain one within the first 90 days. Key Responsibilities Produce and issue binders, certificates, policies, and policy changes, including premium/loss summaries and proposals within designated timelines. Obtain and submit non-marketed renewal quotes, complete renewal processes, and handle non-renewal and cancellations for cause, validating audits. Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for clients. Support miscellaneous duties requested by the team. Qualifications & Skills At least one year of experience in a comparable position; commercial experience preferred. Property & Casualty license or willingness to pursue within 90 days. Knowledge of insurance products, documents, and industry usage. Proficient in Word and Excel; experience with Applied/EPIC and carrier websites preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication. Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. College degree preferred.
