Sr. Tooling Engineer, Can Stamping

Overview As a Tooling Engineer at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing equipment for our Can Stamping battery cell manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tool and Die, Quality, and Engineering teams, to scale up battery can-forming processes to high demand production. Experience in the beverage can and bottle industry, with expertise in high-precision metal forming, is highly desirable to innovate and optimize these critical processes. Your work will involve optimizing equipment and processes, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvements.
