Truck Driver (Class A)

We are currently seeking a Truck Driver (Class A) in the Charlotte, NC area. The normal shift for this position is Monday-Friday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm and overtime as needed. Deliver finished goods to customers and co-pack facilities in a timely manner. Pick up and transport materials while verifying load accuracy and completing required documentation. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, trailer, yard, and door safety inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation records. Communicate effectively with the warehouse team regarding deliveries, trailer movements, and daily activities. Move trailers between company yards, docks, and customer locations as required. Record trailer movements and capture information on daily driver logs. Ensure trailers and truck cabs remain clean, organized, and free of hazards. Report all accidents, incidents, safety concerns, and policy violations immediately. Assist with loading and unloading products when necessary. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently as needed. Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Support facility security and maintain safe operating conditions. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Work overtime or adjusted schedules as needed to meet business demands. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety Ability to read directions, follow instructions, and navigate efficiently Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as needed Ability to enter and exit trucks and trailers repeatedly throughout the day Ability to work in varying weather conditions and warehouse environments Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods We firmly believe that our company is only as good as the people we employ.
