Job Description: Job Summary The Assembler I is responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of various components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions, ensuring high-quality products that meet AAON's standards. Job Responsibilities
Pay Range:
$15.71 - $23.56
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other engineering documentation to accurately assemble components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices (e.g., tape measure, calipers) to assemble parts and products.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Inspect assembled parts for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Identify and report any non-conforming materials or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate light machinery or equipment as required for fan assembly processes.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve production targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
