Registered Nurse - Medical

Schedule
Night Shift - 13-week contract - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible regarding shift lengths and days. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: None

Requirements
- Active State License required (Hawaii License by start of assignment).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: 2-10 years
- EMR: Meditech

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide holistic patient-centered care in the medical unit.
- Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Compliance / Notes
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start for the employee health appointment on Friday.
- Dress Code: Professional nursing attire.
