May engage in all departmental activities to provide safe and effective delivery of patient care utilizing parameters guided by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ASET). Department activities include but are not limited to performing electroencephalogram (EEG); evoked potentials (EP); assisting physicians with nerve conduction studies (NCS); scheduling patients; limited electrocardiography (EKG); transcribing/typing, faxing, scanning, linking and filing reports./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliPerforming electroencephalogram (EEG); evoked potentials (EP)/liliAssisting physicians with nerve conduction studies (NCS)./liliCollects, reviews, summarizes neurological patient information/liliCompletes documentation and provides limited electrocardiography (EKG)./liliTranscribing/typing, faxing, scanning, linking and filing reports./liliAssists with departmental Objectives, PI, and maintenance of Procedure Manual./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pEducation Requirements and Other Requirements:/ppEducation Level: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred./ppCertification/Licensure: Registered by American Board of Registration of EEG and EP Technologists (ABRET) preferred./ppExperience Requirements: Experience in a technical health care field, training and experience in Neurodiagnostics, and/or Polysomnography (including the 10-20 system) preferred./ppCompletion of a CAHEA Accredited education program in Neurodiagnostics preferred./ppAdult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment)./ppTyping skills and general computer knowledge required/p/div
