This assignment involves pediatric cardiology services with 24-hour call coverage and inpatient duties. Shift type is 24-hour call; assignment type is inpatient. Call is required and board certification is required. Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage for pediatric cardiology services. Manage patients in PCICU and step-down units. Conduct daily rounds and respond to consultations. Provide general cardiology care for pediatric patients and manage complex cardiac cases in intensive care and step-down settings. Qualifications MD degree with board certification in Pediatric Cardiology (required). Ability to manage complex pediatric cardiac cases in PCICU and step-down settings. Eligible/able to practice in Maryland (specific licensure requirements may apply). Facility & Location A trusted partner facility provides comprehensive pediatric cardiac care, including specialized units such as PCICU and step-down beds. Job Details Case Load/PPD: Varies; 12 PCICU beds and 5-6 step-down beds. Support Staff: Nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative support. Patient Population: Children.
