Parts Sales Representative

Job TitleThis position is responsible for selling our tiered portfolio of parts to customers over the counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and placing special orders for our customers.ResponsibilitiesProvides excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phoneMeets or exceeds monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotionsResponsibility for Inventory IntegrityEducates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotionsEffectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system and Dealer Business SystemCommunicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfactionMaintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyAssists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working orderMaintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all timesPerforms other duties as assignedExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experienceExperience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapportDemonstrates basic understanding of the selling processesDemonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independenceExperience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applicationsExperience working both independently and in a team settingDemonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbsPay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits: We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance along with paid time off, 401(k), cell phone allowance, safety item reimbursements, AHW branded clothing, and training.
