A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care at a well-respected medical center in the Compton, CA area. Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Dispense medications in compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards

• Provide patient counseling on proper use, side effects, and storage of medications
• Monitor and manage inventory to maintain adequate drug supplies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacist license in the state of California
• Proven experience as a pharmacist in hospital or clinical settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication protocols
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy software systems is a plus
