QA Engineer

Location: Houston, TX Rate: DOE $35/hr. on w2 only US Citizens and Green Cards, H4-EAD, GC-EAD, TN VISA Only.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience in developing test plans, strategies & writing test cases (ADO or Jira preferably)
• Experience in creating detailed and actionable defects (ADO or Jira preferably)
• Experienced in testing web and Windows applications
• Automation:
• Desktop application automation using Appium with Java
• Experience with tools like Selenium, Junit, Appium, CodedUI, UI Automation, Soap API tool, Postman
• Performance testing with Jmeter or Blazemeter is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS and related services
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Proven analytical skills, root-cause analysis skills, problem-solving skills, decision-making skills.
• Hands on experience in performing all aspects of Quality assurance
• Thorough understanding of and experience in applying industry quality standards and methodologies to business situations.
• Highly accountable with strong sense of ownership
