2027 Private Equity Summer Analyst Level Equity is a NYC-based private equity firm with a focus on growth-stage software and technology investments. We are seeking Summer Analysts to join our investment team starting in May 2027. Summer Analysts are responsible for identifying, qualifying, and analyzing new investment opportunities. Summer Analysts will manage a pipeline of potential deal prospects, research different technology sectors, build relationships with CEOs of rapidly growing companies, and help support the investment due-diligence process. They will also contribute in-depth analysis and M&A pipeline development work for existing portfolio companies. The ideal candidate is incredibly curious, energized by seeking out and engaging with prospective companies, and is a strong networker. The position requires strong communication skills and analytical capabilities, creativity, and drive. Understanding of and passion for both technology and the growth equity industry, while not necessary, are attractive. Qualifications are outlined in more detail below: Strong record of academic and extra-curricular achievement with a proven track record of leadership skills; Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to network, communicate, and collaborate with colleagues, company executives, entrepreneurs, and business partners; Exceptional analytical skills, business acumen, and knowledge of financial modeling and analysis; Superb work ethic and a high energy, self-motivated entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to produce high quality deliverables; Genuine interest in software and technology Expectations and responsibilities of the position are as follows: Generate high-quality deal flow by proactively identifying investment opportunities through outbound calling/emailing, coverage of various technology sectors, and pattern recognition; Manage a high-volume pipeline of investment prospects; Form thoughtful opinions on investment opportunities based on both key data points and market insights; Assist senior investment team members with due diligence of potential investments and analysis for existing portfolio companies; Monitor macro and micro industry trends to recommend new sectors of technology for evaluation and potential investment Compensation: Minimum Salary: $100,000 annual salary, paid pro-rated for the term of the summer program. Maximum Salary: $100,000 annual salary, paid pro-rated for the term of the summer program.
