Job Summary Full‑time Optometrist – OD/MD Practice – Atlanta, Peachtree City & Riverdale, GA. We seek a residency‑trained optometrist or experienced medical optometrist. Practice offers full‑scope medical optometry, physician‑owned culture, and advanced technology. Rotating schedule between three locations. Responsibilities Comprehensive eye examinations Dry eye management Glaucoma care Cataract evaluations and post‑operative management LASIK co‑management Diabetic eye care General medical eye care Clinical Support Technicians perform refractions and intra‑ocular pressure testing, allowing focus on patient care. Technology Maestro OCT Visual Field Analyzer Fundus Photography Fully equipped exam lanes Compulink Electronic Health Records (EHR) Work Schedule Typical full‑time schedule: Monday–Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional extension to 5:00 PM. One Saturday morning per month (~4 hours) with a half‑day off during that week. Office rotation across Atlanta, Riverdale, Peachtree City. 4‑day schedule: one day at each location, with an additional day in Peachtree City as needed. 5‑day schedule: typically two days in Peachtree City and remaining days divided between Atlanta and Riverdale. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Georgia Optometry License (or ability to obtain) Ocular Disease Residency preferred Significant medical optometry experience considered Strong medical optometry knowledge Team‑oriented mindset Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care Benefits Annual base salary: $135,000 for a four‑day schedule; $169,000 for a five‑day schedule Annual productivity bonus: earn 20% of collections exceeding 5.25 times base salary (paid annually) Practice pays 50% of employee medical insurance premiums Dental insurance available 401(k) with employer match PTO; one additional week offered during holiday season Licensing fees covered Malpractice insurance provided Location Practice located in the heart of South Metro Atlanta, rotating between Atlanta, Peachtree City, and Riverdale.
