Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Perioperative Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in an operating room setting. License: Active Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Three to five years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred. Current or future bachelors degree in nursing or related field is preferred. CNOR certification is preferred. ACLS certification is preferred. Pre-op area skills are preferred. IV start skills are preferred. Description: This position requires a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operating room. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Continuing education and professional development are encouraged to maintain skills and knowledge. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
