Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, following nursing standards and unit policies.
- Triage, rapidly assess, and monitor patients; initiate timely interventions and escalate as needed.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapies, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including licensed and unlicensed staff, and involve families in care planning and education.
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans; ensure safe discharge planning and patient teaching.
- Uphold professional standards per state nurse practice act and ANA Ethics Code; participate in evidence-based practice and unit governance.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing
- Graduation from an approved nursing program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety, and ethical practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient- and family-centered care
- Experience in Emergency Department or acute care settings preferred; proficiency with documentation in clinical systems
