We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of our fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Pavement Preservation Group is Urgently Hiring - Apply Now! \n Job Responsibilities: \nThis position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment used in construction and pavement preservation operations. Depending on assignment, mechanics may work in a shop environment, on active job sites, or from a fully equipped service truck supporting field operations.

- Perform scheduled, preventative, and emergency repairs on fleet vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment \n
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components \n
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment \n
- Maintain and repair loaders, rollers, brooms, pavers, Class 8 trucks, trailers, pickups, and other construction equipment \n
- Perform safety and DOT inspections while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements \n
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders \n
- Prepare and maintain equipment for daily operational use \n
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately \n
- Assist with parts procurement and inventory management as needed \n
- Operate tools, diagnostic equipment, welding equipment, and maintenance software systems safely and effectively \n
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment \n
- Perform additional duties as assigned \n

\n Qualifications: \n- \n
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred \n
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or a related field \n
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems \n
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required \n
- Ability to provide and maintain tools necessary to perform standard repairs and maintenance \n
- CDL-A license preferred \n
- Tanker endorsement preferred \n
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus \n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \n
