Make your deliveries utilizing side lift gates, small pallets, and electric pallet sleds. \n * Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. \n * Paid holidays: earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. \n * 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. \n * Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! \n\n What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: \n \n \n * Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. \n * Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. \n * Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. \n * Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. \n * Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. \n * Other duties as assigned. \n\n Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate: \n \n \n * At least 21 years of age \n * Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) \n * At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience \n * Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications \n * This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
