Material Handler/Packager Needed for Warehouse in West Jordan Utah
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire

Material Handler Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm )
- Receive and process incoming materials and shipments.
- Unpack, inspect, and label materials as required.
- Remove plugs and prepare materials for production or storage.
- Break down shipping crates using hand and power tools
- Organize and relocate overstock inventory to designated storage areas.
- Package products using foam inserts, expanding foam, bubble wrap, and other protective materials.
- Build and prepare shipping crates in multiple configurations, including horizontal and vertical crate assemblies.
- Assist with additional warehouse, shipping, and material handling duties as assigned.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift and move 50+ pounds.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Previous warehouse, packaging, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
