Job Summary:
Vivo Healthcare Taylor is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cook to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional culinary care to our patients and residents. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of meals and snacks to patients and residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
Maintain clean and organized kitchen spaces, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan, prepare, and serve meals, ensuring timely and efficient service
Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and food ordering as needed
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff
Maintain accurate records of patient diets, meal intake, and special requests
Requirements:
0 years of experience in the food service industry or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Certification in food safety and handling a plus
