Adrian Bay Rehab and Nursing Center - Charge Nurse – RN Adrian Bay Rehab & Nursing | Adrian, Michigan Adrian Bay Rehab & Nursing is seeking a confident, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse . This is a hands-on nursing position for an RN who enjoys providing direct resident care while also serving as the clinical leader for the building during their shift. Our Charge Nurse works alongside the nursing team on the floor while helping oversee the house, support staff, respond to clinical concerns, and ensure our residents receive safe, high-quality care. What You’ll Do Provide direct nursing care and medication administration Complete assessments, treatments, documentation, and physician notifications Serve as the supervising nurse for the house during the assigned shift Provide direction and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and changes in resident condition Respond to emergencies and help coordinate appropriate interventions Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and facility leadership Ensure physician orders, care plans, and facility policies are followed Help maintain appropriate staffing coverage and workflow throughout the shift Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive environment for residents and employees What We’re Looking For Current Michigan Registered Nurse license in good standing Current CPR certification Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills Ability to confidently prioritize and respond to changing needs throughout the building Dependable, organized, and comfortable providing both direct care and staff supervision Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience is a plus Why Join Adrian Bay?
