Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in outside industrial sales, and with my husband having over 28 years of experience with State Farm, insurance has been a big part of our lives. Role Description Shayne Laughlin - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. Qualifications Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Are You Driven & Ambitious? Our office is located in Lake Charles, LA. Our office is open 8:30 - 5:00. I have been a State Farm agent since 2012. We currently have 5 team members at our agency. We have Over 50 years of combined insurance experience in our office. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees.
