Respiratory Therapist

A Respiratory Therapist is needed for a day shift position. This role involves servicing medical, surgical, rehab, progressive care, intensive care, and limited pediatrics. The facility has a trauma center and a 20-bed ICU. There will be 4-6 respiratory therapists on staff each shift. Weekend coverage is required every other week. Documentation is completed using the Epic system. Experience in adult critical care and pediatrics is preferred. The role includes skills such as bronchoscopy assistance and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. Candidates should have experience with various respiratory equipment, including high-flow nasal cannulas and ultrasonic nebulizers. The patient population includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 120 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
