The responsibilities of a Family Law Litigation Attorney in our Firm are to represent and advise clients in various family cases.

$80,000 - $110,000 yearly + bonus potential + benefits DOE

• Represent clients in family law matters, ensuring their best interests are always at the forefront.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client representation.

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, with precision and clarity.

• Appear in court to advocate for clients, presenting cases effectively and confidently.

• Manage case files diligently, ensuring all documentation is organized and deadlines are met.

• Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories, to gather pertinent information.

• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, aiming for favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity at all times.

What You Need:

• Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.

• Prior family law experience is preferred but not required.

• Excellent courtroom presence and legal writing skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and client relationship abilities.

• Confidence under pressure and compassion for people in crisis.

• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to track and enter time daily.

• The Family Law Litigation Attorney will have a four-year bachelor’s degree, a Juris Doctor degree, and be licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
