Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday & Saturday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM
Hours: Overtime available
Benefits: Full benefits offered

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hardworking and dependable Shop Helper / Band Saw Operator for a local manufacturing and fabrication company in Wichita Falls, TX. This position is ideal for an individual with basic machine shop experience who is motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced industrial environment.


The ideal candidate will have experience reading a tape measure, operating a band saw, and working with basic manual machine shop equipment. Mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a band saw to cut materials according to specifications
• Read and accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools
• Assist with operating manual mills and lathes
• Perform basic machine setup and material handling
• Support production and fabrication operations as needed
• Inspect parts and materials for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience operating a band saw required
• Basic knowledge of manual mills and lathes
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, and dependable
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a physically demanding environment
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Reliable transportation and good attendance required
