Jr. Systems Administrator

Location: Harrisburg, PA (Onsite → Hybrid after 6 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift with Rotating On-Call
Pay: Exempt - $60,000 - $65,000

What You'll Do

System Administration & Maintenance

• Support and maintain servers, systems, networks, and workstations
• Perform updates, patches, and upgrades to keep systems optimized
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and enterprise systems

Network Administration

• Support VPNs, firewalls, and LAN/WAN environments
• Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity

Security & Compliance

• Assist with Active Directory, access controls, and Group Policy
• Support security protocols such as MFA and antivirus
• Assist with audits and compliance initiatives (PCI DSS)

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Monitor backups and assist with recovery planning
• Help ensure data integrity and availability

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies

• Support virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Assist with AWS and Azure platforms
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements

Automation & Reporting

• Assist with scripting and automation of routine tasks
• Help generate system performance and usage reports

User Support & Collaboration

• Provide Tier 2 technical support
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Collaborate with IT, Data, and Web Development teams
• Assist during outages or critical incidents

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination

Technical Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL, Access, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports
• Understanding of networking and IT infrastructure
