Position Overview The Growth Sales Account Executive is an individual contributor focusing on renewing, up-selling, and cross-selling contracts for an assigned territory through direct and partner channels. The role manages existing named accounts, drives retention and expansion during renewals, and ensures customer awareness and utilization of existing products. Primary Responsibilities Manage a territory of 60–100 existing Alteryx customers through the customer lifecycle of ongoing renewal and expansion. Run business value justification meetings and negotiate timely renewals with expansion. Capture and articulate ROI to C‑Suite and internal leadership, understanding business case fundamentals. Network and expand relationships with executives and senior sponsors to identify up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities. Accurately forecast projected revenue attainment, reporting weekly to sales management. Recognize and escalate difficult technical or business issues to sales, customer support, and other departments, working toward prompt sales closure and optimal customer satisfaction. Take a proactive approach in growing software usage and enabling customer success through product education, new‑feature introduction, use‑case development, and account review. Leverage the Alteryx Alliances and Channels Ecosystem to execute GTM plans, driving pre‑sales, sales, retention, expansion, and enablement via co‑sell and re‑sell motions. Maintain a 3X pipeline coverage, monthly forecast, and consistently achieve quarterly quotas. Travel (approximately 25%) to visit customer offices and attend internal conferences and meetings. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales role and at least 2 years of B2B software/SaaS sales experience. Excellent knowledge of value-driven sales and a strong strategic-thinking mindset. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and professionally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience building relationships across business users, management, IT, and executive personas. Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence, navigate objections, and achieve win-win outcomes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Compensation Base salary: $84,000–$96,000. On-target earnings (OTE): $140,000–$160,000. Additional compensation includes a monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150, an annual $200 home-office reimbursement, and commission eligibility.
