DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)

Bon Appetit Job Title: DISHWASHER Location: The Cleveland Museum of Art - 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106 Schedule: Full time; Tuesday through Sunday, hours may vary Requirement: No previous experience is required Fixed Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrape, rinse, and wash food from dirty dishes by hand or place them on conveyor to dishwashing machine according to assigned equipment; ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures; ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on equipment; ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned.
