Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice in Chicago, IL. This role involves supporting regulatory, compliance, and advisory matters related to employee benefits and executive compensation. Duties Support regulatory and compliance matters involving employee benefits. Provide advisory services on executive compensation arrangements. Assist with EBEC transaction support. Advise on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. Guide clients on health and welfare plan issues. Contribute to plan design and administration. Requirements Experience with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related guidance. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple matters collaboratively. Strong academic credentials. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Active Bar membership in good standing. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the office is located. Skills Excellent research and writing abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
